Here at the Little Sisters of the Poor, we believe that joy, dignity, and belonging are at the heart of everything we do for our residents. That’s why our sisters and staff work hard throughout the year to organise a variety of social events and outings — moments that bring laughter, connection, and a little sparkle to everyday life.
One such memorable occasion was a lovely brunch at the Xara Lodge in Rabat. Our residents were welcomed for a wonderful morning of good food, warm company, and a change of scenery that so many of them truly treasure. For those who came along, it was far more than a meal — it was an occasion to feel celebrated and cherished.
Events like these would simply not be possible without the kindness of those who open their doors to us. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the directors, management, and staff of Xara Lodge for their remarkable generosity. Their warmth and willingness to welcome our residents so graciously made the day truly special — and it did not go unnoticed by anyone present.
It is thanks to the generosity of partners like Xara Lodge that we are able to take our residents out into the community and give them experiences that bring so much happiness.
